The St. Joe
Down do to 2790 @ Calder and 641 @ Red Ives which is getting close to prime time. Lots of water still, but very fishy and good hatches especially on the upper river. The lower is getting into summer mode with the heat the last couple days, Pmd’s and Caddis or a big attractor with a long dropper will be good. Streamer fishing is still a good way to move some bigger fish or find the occasional bully. Good place for a change of pace with a little closer to seasonal flows than the CDA. As always a deep nymph rig with a rubber leg and a smaller flashy bug behind it will find some fish if they aren’t coming up as much especially mid day. Hopefully the cool off next week helps keep the bugs going!
