The St. Joe
Still getting good reports from the Joe. Even though the lower is still at a good flow to float, wading the upper sections sounds a bit more fun since there have been a lot of boats down low. The flows at Red Ives are at 282 which is still a prime flow for this time of year. Little bumps from the tiny bit of snow left has kept the flows really good up here. Might even be a little pushy in places to cross so the river is still opening up. Still some golden stones and drake stuff up high, but lots of caddis, pmd’s, small ants and good attractor fishing as well throughout. Again switching tactics if you are not the first boat down can make a big difference in your day.
