It’s not hard to tell how much Ryan loves to fish. Spend more than 30 seconds with the guy and somehow he’ll be able to steer most conversation towards the subject. Ryan grew up in Coeur d’ Alene and has lived here for over 27 years. His first experience with fly fishing came at the age of 14 while borrowing his father’s fly rod to chase cutties on the North Fork of the Coeur d’ Alene river with a dry fly. To this day he still believes thats the best way to spend the day. You can find him fly fishing year round catching trout in the Pacific Northwest, Swinging flies to Steelhead, or using a 12wt rod to battle Giant Trevally somewhere on a nameless reef in Fiji. Ryan loves taking people of all skill levels out fishing and sharing his passion for the sport with others. He is also an Artist, School Teacher, and Wrestling Coach. His number one goal while guiding is to help people catch fish and as he will tell you himself, “a day spent on the water is never a day wasted, we’re gonna have some fun, catching fish is the cherry on top!”
