At Northwest Outfitters we are proud of our fly fishing guides, and their dedication to putting clients on BIG FISH! More importantly, we also take pride in our ability to help people catch their first fish on a fly rod, which is a once in a life time experience that we enjoy sharing with our clients.
Northwest Outfitters’ Guides are familiar with most of the waterways of the Inland Northwest, as well as what flies are working at a particular time on any given river. When they’re not guiding, our guys are out fishing around the region on their own. So before you go out fishing be sure to check our River Reports daily or give the shop a call. We’ll share with you what our guides are telling us about what fish are biting on. Better yet, come in to the shop and we’ll show you the flies that will help you hook into fish. We’re also happy to answer any questions you may have, help with gear or rental equipment, provide rigging instruction, and we’ll also point you in the right direction by offering a complimentary map of our local tributaries.
Although our specialty is guiding walk and wade trips on the beautiful North Fork of the Couer d’Alene River, we also want to make sure you are getting the best trip for your circumstances when you are in the area. If we are unable to provide the trip you are looking for we will do anything we can to help you out. We have great connections with other outfitters and guides and are more than happy to facilitate trips to other local areas by way of acting as a booking agent.
