The Spokane is a great winter escape. Not far from home, maybe not the easiest river to fish, but there are quality fish and it is a good option almost any day due to the regularity and temperature of the water. Swinging streamers and nymphing are the most productive, but it’s a fun place for a couple hours if you are looking for a fix. Also a great river for trout spey if you are looking to practice your spey casting.
