It might be hot down in Lewiston, but the Clearwater is the coldest water around and there are some fish around. This time of year swinging traditional flies on scandi or long head lines is a fun way to cover water. We mainly focus on the lower part of the Clearwater this time of year, but fish can definitely be spread a little higher. Hopefully we get some cooler weather and things should really get going!
