The river is at 2700 and still climbing but should start to drop soon as it cools off this weekend. The fishing was pretty good as the river was rising the last couple days, but by Wednesday afternoon it was pretty stained and had quite a bit of debris floating down. There were a few random fish up earlier in the day, but dark colored streamers and bigger nymphs along the edges of the fast water and deeper pools worked well. It is going to get cold, but not frigid so there should be some more opportunity as the water clears and drops. Hoping for snow but might as well enjoy while the river is fishing well.
