The lakes are a good option now.  Lakes in Eastern washington have been fishing well for trout using balanced leeches and some chironomids, but the local lakes are starting to get active too.  Pike have been starting to move into the shallows in some lakes and this is a good time of year to find the big one.  Crappie and bass are starting to stage in a little deeper water so dragging a balanced leech over the weed beds and drop offs have been finding fish.  It will continue to get better as things warm up.
